Faster than my bullet

After leaving Santa Barbara we drove into horrible LA traffic and got in just in time to grab a bite and catch Foster the People at The Echo. Great live show and so much fun.

Breezed through Santa Barbara where I collected some fine font specimens. The street signs had an interesting choice.

Thanks to Dona's recommendation, we stayed at a hotel called the Madonna Inn where all the rooms are themed. Mike and I stayed in a room called Old Mill - it looked like a giant cuckoo clock and had a water-fountain mill with animatronic figurines and glittery walls. They also had a really awesome pool and amazing breakfast.

Santa Cruz

Went to a weird place called the Mystery Spot in Santa Cruz. Too fun and highly recommended. The photos really don't do any justice so i didn't bother posting any weird ones. Then we spent the afternoon in Santa Cruz where we spotted Mike's childhood dream skateboard - a foot with an ugly mouth. Then continued down the US1 to the Madonna Inn.
